  • Avoda Coaching Group is not able to accommodate learning and physical disabilities at this time. Individuals with questions about this policy should contact the Director of Education.

  • Participants who wish to report discriminatory behavior are encouraged to follow the process outlined in our Grievance Statement. Avoda Coaching Group will attempt to address grievances brought to its attention in a timely manner. Participants can file a grievance by following the process found below:

    1. A participant should first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the educator/trainer, staff, or participant with whom they have an issue. If participants are not comfortable approaching the individual, they can proceed to step 2.

    2. If the participants filing the grievance are not comfortable approaching the individual with whom they have a grievance, or are unable to resolve the issue directly, the participants should submit a written grievance to the Avoda Coaching Group, within five (5) days of the incident. Avoda Coaching Group will review the issue and talk to the parties involved within ten (10) days of receiving the complaint. Avoda Coaching Group will work with the parties involved, as appropriate, to resolve the issue.

    3. If a participant does not feel the issue is resolved, a written request for an appeal should be sent to the Avoda Coaching Group for consideration. Appeals should include the original complaint and the reason(s) the participant is unsatisfied with the resolution attempt(s). Appeals are reviewed and a written response will be provided to the participant within thirty (30) days. All appeal decisions are final.

    Avoda employees are expected to do their best to create a work culture that is free of harassment, intimidation, violence, and unlawful discrimination. If you feel that you are experiencing any of these behaviors by anyone at Avoda, an Avoda Client, or by an Avoda Vendor, please immediately report it to Avoda.

  • In order to provide you with the minimum required training hours for certification, it is important that you are present at all course sessions. If you have an emergency or become ill and are not able to attend a coaching session, please contact your instructor or the Director of Education immediately. You will be expected to complete the session materials, review the session recording, and complete a coaching session outside the live session to make up for the missed session.

    If you miss up to 20% of the required course hours, you will have the option to work with the instructor to cover the missed material. If you miss more than 20%, you will need to register for another course at your own expense.

    If you miss any individual mentor coaching sessions, you will need to arrange a time to reschedule your coaching session with your mentor to complete the required 10 hours of mentor coaching to satisfy the International Coaching Federation requirements.

    Petitions to this policy are considered on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted in writing to the instructor and Avoda Coaching Group.

  • Student Requirements

    Dependability and commitment are evidenced through a student’s faithful participation in classes. Attendance is required with a minimum of 80% of each course. Class time missed can be made up by listening to the class recordings and turning in a reflection paper. The best students are those who are willing to grow in: self-awareness, partnering with others, vulnerability, and who have a desire to expand their learning.

    Participation Policy

    Success in our program requires full commitment by all participants. By enrolling in this course, participants agree to being fully present during all sessions and participate to the best of their ability. This includes arriving on time, abiding by the code of conduct, and engaging in course activities.

    Course Engagement

    Our courses are designed to be interactive and engaging for our participants. It is therefore an expectation that you participate in course activities, including dialogue with the course instructor and peers, mock coaching activities, and experiential learning exercises. If you are unable to participate in an activity, please inform your instructor as soon as possible. Please refer to the code of conduct for additional details.

    Code of Conduct

    Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner during all sessions. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Arriving on time to all sessions.

    • Attending all sessions and mentor coaching sessions.

    • Having your camera on for virtual sessions.

    • Participating fully in all sessions and mentor coaching sessions. This includes being prepared for the session, involving yourself in discussions and activities, assuming responsibility for your learning, and contributing to the learning of others.

    • Engaging in discussions with integrity and honesty.

    • Being respectful of your fellow participants and instructors, including silencing your cell phone, not texting, and other disruptive behaviors.

    • Treating others with respect and kindness.

  • At this time, we are not able to offer credit for partial completion of a course. You must complete the entire course to receive credit. Individuals with questions about this policy are encouraged to contact the Director of Education.

  • Full payment for registration is required seven (7) days before a course start date.

    Avoda Coaching Group, LLC reserves the right to reschedule or cancel any scheduled course due to low enrollment or circumstances beyond our control. If a class is rescheduled or canceled, participants will be given notice by Avoda Coaching Group, LLC at least seven (7) days before the start of the first day of classes. Students may then enroll in the next available offering of the course or choose another course.

    Information submitted for your registration, not including credit card information, on our website is used by Avoda Coaching Group, LLC to respond and follow-up. The information is maintained on our internal database. Instructors maintain student records during classes and after a class is over Avoda Coaching Group, LLC maintains the records internally. Completing a registration form means agreeing to your information being held in our records.

  • Students who are enrolled in a class may reschedule or receive a 100% refund with a notice of at least seven (7) days before the start of the first day of classes. Please allow two weeks for the processing of any refund. Avoda will not offer credit for partial completion of a course.

  • Avoda Coaching Group will accept partial credit from other organizations or programs If you have either started or completed a Level 1 program at another organization, we will apply your completed credit hours to Avoda’s Coaching Education Program. You must provide documentation of the organization, number of hours completed, completion certificate(s), and contact information for the organization or trainer. You may be asked for additional details or documentation on an as-needed basis. Please contact the Director of Education for more information. The Portfolio Path must be used when you apply for a credential with ICF.

  • As an ICF Accredited provider, our organization adheres to and emphasizes the International Coaching Federation Code of Ethics. The ICF Code of ethics describes the ICF core values, ethical principles, and standards of behavior for all ICF professionals. Meeting these ethical standards of behavior is the first of the ICF core coaching competencies. You can read more about the ICF Code of Ethics here.

    Additionally, Avoda Coaching Group commits to acting with integrity. We seek to maintain a high level of integrity for both ourselves and our participants.
